Kristin Ulrich Somich

Kristin joined Parsons Summa as an Associate Attorney with experience in the areas of Labor and Employment, as well as significant work in employee-related benefits. Seasoned and proven in her field, Kristin is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. During her years of study there, Kristin was named Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law, also serving as Student Attorney for the Pediatric Advocacy Initiative. Previously, Kristin earned her B.A. in Accounting from Notre Dame College, achieving summa cum laude, and serving as president of the Undergraduate Student Senate and captain of the women’s tennis team.

An experienced attorney, Kristin served as Associate Attorney, specializing in Labor and Employment, at law firms Ogletree Deakins and also Baker & Hostetler LLP, both of Cleveland, Ohio. In addition, Kristin served as Adjunct Professor at the Charlotte School of Law, designing and teaching curriculum, including upper level Employment Discrimination Law and Practice in Context: Civil Litigation. As Law Clerk for Progressive Insurance Company, Kristin performed legal research and analysis to identify and resolve compliance issues, among other related matters.

A strong advocate for youth, Kristin currently serves as an Arbitrator for the Juvenile Solicitor’s Office of York County, S.C.
